The program lets you choose between two methods. The first one recovers a file, but the second one will be a partition of the hard drive. As far as the file goes, you’ll have to select its location, then select the file and then pick where you want to save it.
When the hard drive is analyzed you’ll be shown the different partitions detected which can also be analyzed to detect information that can be recovered. It’s advisable not to save the recovered files in the same unit they come from.
iData Recovery Wizard lets you save the results of the analysis to use them in the future.
Windows XP or greater is required
